“I'm gonna go with tapolia but I'm going to caveat it by saying that Josh Emmy receives a lot of criticism before the Kelvin cater fight rightly or wrongly we both agree the cater one book it was a close fight he then had devastating lost to the yaya Rodriguez so this is his last chance to get into the title picture I think I think he's 38 39 this is really his last chance if you lose to the to the young undefeated Young Gun then it'll probably over for him so Josh Emmett will come with everything that he's got and that makes this fight so exciting again the UFC matchmakers did it again this is going to have everybody um you know on the seats and and just hand sweating just nervous because you know like any time somebody could be going to the hospital 100 co-main events we've got number 11 ranks Amanda Ribas it's 11 rounds of strawberries I should say moving up to Flyway to face a number 11 throwing fly away to Maycee Barber um we've got Amanda Hebert on a one fight win streak over Viviana Ruger Barber on a four fight win streak um is this almost Battle of the prospects is this whoever wins this fight takes a step forward from the other maybe takes a step back whether you kind of see these these too much stuff and I think this might be that's not this might be fighter tonight honestly man this is gonna be fun man like uh Barbara you know she's she's mean and she started off on fire I think she like started out before tkos um you're not like you said she had a four fight one street uh Team Alpha Male you know obviously she should be you know they'll have a big team that night with them so they'll probably travel deep um you know she's aggressive she'll switch her stances she's she's just in there she's like some good dirty boxing as well um she seems mean she seems like she might have a little more power than Grievous but uh then you got you know I'm saying Amanda Evas like she she's she's creative uh been in there with some big names beat McKenzie Dern on ball with Paige VanZant was slick um she's real slick striking um heavy on top you know I believe she has a black belt as well she has a um you know it's heavy on top I think you know like this is gonna be a fun one I think they're gonna both I think I think I think Barbara's gonna bring it out of a man and he let it kind of like pick it up a little bit more um uh man this is gonna yeah I don't know man this is another there's another another tough one for me to pick because I like the the the aggressiveness of of of uh Maycee Barber and she brings it but then same I like the creativity and that Amanda he loves where she's she's constantly moving to put together the cake she'll spin she'll she'll mix it up and then she gets on top she's super heavy as well and I think uh that might be that might be her oh wait a victory so she gets on top of Barbara and gets on and can pin her down and keep her there and then kind of like write out that decision um I think I think she takes it um I think I'm rocking with the man and he was on this one but I I like Maycee Barber man this is hard hard one for me to pick it's it's almost like a skill versus a strength matchup you probably say he bought us the technical more technical cleaner striking but Bob is more aggressive I might say Barbara's the better offensive wrestling but he bosses the black belts in year two so it's one of those fights where if it's if it looks like it's look first Maycee Barbers maybe having more successive it looks like a technical kickboxing My Thai fight then it's probably Amanda here bosses but the only a point to mentioned with this one as we talked about there's only one of these girls who could make straw weight and that's about the key bus so if I'm if I may see Barber and here coaches we need to use the size and strength that we've got and try and push it up against the fence use those uh big takedowns those double legs and really trying to stamp up our Authority as the bigger girl yeah I think yeah yeah you better get back fence using big elbows um grind away make it ugly get your head get it get your head underneath your chin kind of really grind it out get on top obviously there is submission uh dangers down there um but you know say if a matter can keep that that slick footwork she's real active too she's always like kind of moving she's always up she's if she can kind of make you know Saint Barbara make a lot a lot more mistakes or even get a little bit more hesitant from those from himself from that Twitchy movement in that kind of like the energy she kind of brings she brings a lot of energy to the strikes um it could be it could be uh it could be you know a long night for Barbara but if she she's not there she's kind of slowing down Brahma Barber man like I don't think anybody can hang with her I'm sure she does that but I think a man is going to play this one smart uh I think she's gonna mix in a lot of punches with cakes lots of faints um Marcy Maycee Barber is a little too aggressive she dumps her uh sweeps out the rounds by just you know top being heavy and uh you're saying winning the decision you mentioned there about Roman yadav against your opponents in the clinch up against defense what's the worst thing your opponent can do to you that isn't illegal like of all those little bits of the fight what is the one thing that's just oh that's just so annoying um definitely the flip starts yeah like especially if you get right when you get in the right spot it starts like you like the things it just hurt for no reason you know those are annoying um yeah and if I was in the first thoughts man like come on it's like like we just sitting here I know we're just kicking my toes and I was like it's the worst but all the ones where um Jones John Jones against Glover where he was yanking his arm out of the soccer to try and dislocate the shoulder that's that's nasty crazy crazy yeah I would say especially especially in training that's the worst man when they do it in training like what are you doing bro but like I hate people that do that like if I break my toe up man I'm gonna be pissed like it's like people just sitting in the cage for five minutes copy each other's feet but but yeah I would say definitely the other arms that makes sense so did you say you're going with Evas on this one yeah I think I'm running out of decision on this one I think I agree I think maybe maybe Barbara might have succession one of the rounds I think she's got a little bit of the Josh Emmett style tour where she'll kind of she'll go out and she'll go out on a shield yeah so I anticipate she might she might Nick around maybe the second or the third but I do I think I'm with you I think he Busters technique in both areas in the on the ground and also in terms of the kickboxing might just be a little bit too much I don't think she'll get over the line of this one definitely think this is going to be a great fight I won't be surprised despite of the night I agree open up the main cards we've got number 13 right middleweight friends and Allen coming in against Bruno Silva uh Brendan Allen writing a four fight win streak most recently subbing Andre Muniz earlier on the year which was a big surprise and uh Bruno Silva's coming off the first round knockout over bran Tavares um I'm rarely like Brands and Allen I really like his style I just think he's had those moments in his career to get the Strickland fight the Chris Curtis fight where he just Fallen shorts against top guys but I think he's going to put everything together and I think this is going to be a another breakout moment for for all in friends and Allen yeah he's slick his footwork is you know educated footwork real calm real patient gets his hit here and there but like real calmly does he um top pressures you know like ridiculous like submit you like it's like it's it's clean work man obviously that's the perfect word for Brendan Islanders everything is so clean everything is so technically perfect it's like yeah you say like you want to like like it's sharp it's it's it's it looks effortless you know like it's like he's he's just flown and he really kind of gets to that flow State um slick grappling a lot I love the fangs I love the footwork um you know creative again he gets it does get touched up because he's calm um obviously but Bernal Silvers is one of those rugged South Palms docked you big punches just coming in your face um you know like just non-stop pressure so it's it's a it's one of those things can can how well does you know saying Ellen do backing up fighting which I think he does fine um or if he can kind of like close that Gap get to those takedowns and and work that Jiu Jitsu and um and get those submissions I think he can do both um I think he picks and choose how he wins this fight I think he's gonna come down to his mindset it's done so and and how he shows up but um I don't see him who's in this fight I think it was when he fought when Brendan Allen for uh Puna Soriano and it was that left kick left body kick that was London all night and I think it might be the same thing rights against uh Southpaw versus Orthodox fights I think that Baltic will be there all night Brandon and that will probably be his version of a job that will be the weapon that will be he'll be using to discipline Bruno Silva the trouble is Bruno Silva could knock anyone else yeah and that's that's the question in this one is if is if the power puncher can get to on them but I do anticipate that got top run Neil Magny perennial Contender at 170 coming in against Philip Rowe I think Phil Robert I believe is on a three fight knockout streak at the starters UFC career um I actually spoke with Neil magni a couple of weeks ago when he said he was actually slightly disappointed in this fight because he didn't say the rose he considers villaro a friend he doesn't particularly want to be fighting the guy he's considers a friend but this is a really interesting fight this is a fight to see how much uh how much film I was actually gone at the top of the division do they do they train together yeah you know they train together I think they've trained together in the past so they've they've trained together over the last few years I think he said that Neil said when he was at one of his earlier UFC fights Phil Roe was in the corner for a previous opponent so it's gone right the way back I think he mentioned six seven years ago so they've had quite a long kind of uh you know relationship awkward yeah it's kind of awkward man that's it interesting I didn't know that I'm glad you brought that up I didn't know that that's awkward man um because they're both long they're both big for the size I thought for the weight class as far as like height wise um they're both lanky um I'll say maybe he wrote the power Advantage um appearance you got to get magni um you know man he's been there done it with everybody um you know this is interesting fight especially now that I know their friends or they know each other how do you think we would react to that situation have you ever have you ever thought somebody you've spoken people or you considered to be on good Central but have you ever thought someone who you consider an actual friend never never how do you think you would react do you think you just have your game face on and go it's it's either him or me or do you think he would have a laugh like I think it would have to be like I don't know I I it'd be awkward because I go I mean I wouldn't fight Calvin I know that for sure or anybody else there maybe you know saying like you know people I'm probably kind of cool with or whatever but probably the only one who wouldn't be Calvin but besides that like I know I'll be down I know it might be awkward um I think once we get in there it's gonna be you know especially if I've gotten the better of him you know say anything smart and stuff like say if I got a better respond like I know like I can kind of play like those type of Mind Tricks and little things like that I I feel like it'll be fun it'll be interesting because you kind of know exactly what you're getting yourself into um but never been offered it um definitely I've had the only person I wouldn't fight was Calvin um thanks Rob appreciate that but uh but uh yeah no that's interesting man how do you uh did he give you any uh insights he didn't give me any insights in terms of how trade on a gumball he just referenced the fact that when the contract came through is that there was a bit of a sigh and a bit of a you know I wish it went that guy type of thing hey there's that many guys on the roster now there's there's a much more higher chance of happening did they uh you know you know they talked at all obviously I'm not sure I'm not sure of that I'm not sure of that at all but one thing I will say about this fight is manganese three last wins have been drod Max Griffin and Jeff Neal yeah and they're very similar styles to Philip Rowe now obviously Magnus had a couple of losses in there as well but those those style matchups are pretty similar in terms of what magnitos which is that jab the pace the volume the forward pressure so there's a there's a game on there for magnet to follow there's like obviously this ain't real really likes to Grapple too you know so he's always like so like how do you see that how do you see it happen uh how do you see this playing out if he gets on top that's a bit of an it's a bit of an interest it's always a difficult one to assess Neil McNeese ground game because he does have a lot of submission losses on his records they're always at the top guys the two shaft cut rackman of Gilbert fence RTA show is Phil Row in that category yeah you would say on paper probably not so it's it's more it's more where the whether he can upload you know uh our cardio I'm on the ground and kind of finish them through exhaustion rather than skill that would be how you would look at it on paper who do you think they're better in the gym if I say in six or seven you look Rob Rob you this is this storyline has got you hasn't it you're so invested I think if Neil magni was in the UFC and Phil Rowe was a maybe a you know an early Pro like let's say a tom tom Pags level four or five and oh something like that you'd have to presume the vet may have got the better but that's like psychologically if you're if you're the the old guy you've got the better of them but now you're the best you might think he might he's got a lot better so it's yeah both ways no doubt I think I've read it more towards Mania like he doesn't get into a very tough spot and like you said he you know Roe likes to Grapple but is he on that that level of a guild of burns or you know a guy like that so it's kind of like he yeah become four out of four on the same picks I'm gonna go with it uh very quickly we've got a couple of minutes to spare but I wanted to get your thoughts on news that broke yesterday of Henry's who though and Marlon Cheeto Vera being matched up for UFC 292 in Boston because give me your overall thoughts on that fight and what you actually think of the book and the fact that they they've been sized off as expectations that's just I I wouldn't have I don't know I felt your Henry would have waited for something else over a Cheeto but that's that's fun fight it's in Boston it's gonna be it's gonna be a fun fight um as far as like the match-up goes um you know obviously Cheetos have some trouble with being off his back and and especially obviously that that's that Cody Brundage fight he obviously started off slow and but he does he has like kind of like if he gets on his back it's not like he's instantly popping up or he's like putting you into a lot of uh submissions um dirty up you know he's real um dangers with the elbows off his back and uh Debbie definitely can start cause a lot of damage there um but you know Henry's wrestling is so good he's on top how long do you stay on top um I like the Striking match that'd be interesting you know I think you know Henry you'll be you know doing his thing and and Cheeto kind of be shelled up and I think Cheeto eventually finds something to kind of land on I mean make it interesting but uh it's gonna be interesting um three rounds I think I think it the three rounds fits you know or but it's more it's much better for uh Henry over yeah I think Cheeto does need those five rounds to kind of get going um it was good do you know if it's going to be the main event or I mean I'm sorry the co-main event no so that's my understanding that Bailey's young and Mandalay no she'll be co-main those guys will be featured fights which leaves you and even a certain [ __ ] uh pay-per-view you pay the view main card opener yeah yeah we'll see man let's see let's see how it lines up that's getting more interesting and I like this I like this like despite it's a it's a big fight man you know like I said you got Triple C you have Cheetos you know they're gonna they're gonna you know it's gonna be interesting to build up you know everything's always gonna talk that [ __ ] she just seems like he might [ __ ] slap somebody if you say something to to if you go too far so we'll see man I'm excited
