UFC Qatar Tsarukyan vs Hooker | Full Card Breakdown & Predictions

I'm going with Armen. Um, and I think Arman's win against NOT_IN_ROSTER_26 Olivera is probably his best performance yet. The split decision win at UFC 300, that fight was insane. The scrambles, the you know, every He got out of a a deep submission. I thought that [ __ ] was over. This man had to get out of it because his pants were was slipping off. That's basically how he probably got out of that submission by NOT_IN_ROSTER_26 Alivera. No one is escaping that submission by NOT_IN_ROSTER_26, but Armen did. And I just think he is probably the biggest threat to Ilia. I the skill set wise at 155. I think this guy is just the biggest threat. And uh I think he's going to show against Dan Hooker. I don't I don't even think Dan Hooker is just fully invested in fighting. I mean, he's he's worried about putting on his own league of seeing Polynesians uh fight each other and like NOT_IN_ROSTER_27 boxing in the in the in the backyard. So, I don't know. like Dan Hooker, he he trains with, you know, Izzy and uh City Kickboxing, but just the way he talks, I feel like he's just not taking it serious anymore. He just whatever version of him shows up shows up and he's going to put on a dog fight, but h I hate this sty stylistic matchup for Dan Hooker here. So, I'll take Armen, man. I I couldn't agree more with I'm I'm the same as you. Like, it's kind of short and sweet, really. like you have a guy who uh basically fights like yearly uh since what like 2022ish. Uh I he fought twice in 22, but I mean one of them was a first round knockout. So, you know, like it's it's a guy who who's who's not active, whose last two fights are over, no disrespect to Gamerock, but you know, he's not top tier despite the rankings and despite his placement against Olivivera. >> Yo, Jaylen Turner, like, come on. >> Me and NOT_IN_ROSTER_2 winning that bet of taking Dan Hooker over Gamerock was >> Oh my gosh. >> was still a still a highlight for me. And I I again we we we were talking about a little bit before. I think that much like with with IMG, I think he's aware of the moment and what he needs to do. He can't come out here and [ __ ] around. This is his punishment for messing up and and getting Moano a damn title shot. I I I I I uh I think that this is I feel like the UFC is being very smart with their air quotes punishment of Armen too because uh he's been on the shelf for a minute but also like this is name enough to get the casuals I guess you would call it maybe even the die hards more actually the casuals is the number effects to the name and just the recognition of the name. I guess if you're that I don't know I don't know if Dan Hooker is that but but like the the insiders they're like oh yeah that's a good name it's like no that's all it is >> is a good name against a guy who's fought in great fights against good names himself but I think Armen handles this the way he's supposed to think he's aware no more fuckups you got to go out there you got to do your job you can get on the mic you can call out Ilia get your title shot that you were supposed to already have. It sucks that we're not going to get the NOT_IN_ROSTER_4 and Armen fight that we were supposed to get the rematch cuz I loved that original fight. Uh instead we'll get Seaporia hopefully. If not, he's I mean if not, like you said, I wouldn't be mad if he gets on the mic after the fight and Patty comes up too. You know, it I think there are options. I I think this is going to be much like the NOT_IN_ROSTER_10 fight where it's like, okay, to me, the most interesting thing is going to be afterwards >> and just thinking post fight cuz Yeah, I think I think Armen I think Arman should go out here and do his job. It'll be pretty easy. Fairly easy considering. >> Yeah. Uh, I think I'm looking at at the ESPN app here and the under rounds is is a nice gift. They're giving us under 3.5 rounds at minus 140 >> given an extra round. >> I I I'm kind of shocked at that. And I think Dan Hooker puts himself in a lot of uh bad positions groundwise and in striking. I I think this is really a good uh under 3.5 rounds. That might be one of my favorite bets for the card that I'm seeing. So >> yeah, that's what I have on Caesars here. Um, I'm gonna go Asuv, but again, this could be a pick switch on Friday just seeing how Alex Perez looks on the scale. Next, I'm going to go Saged. And that's going to leave it at that. Uh, to finish off the prelims, I'm going to go Luke Riley, but uh, I'm check I'm gonna place a bet. I might place a bet on Bo Don Grod there. Uh to open up the main card, I'm going to go with uh Horaguchi, dog number two. Um in the heavyweight division, I'm going to go Shamil Gazv. Next fight, I'm going to go with Oral by again. I may come back with a Jack Manson pick, seeing how he weighs in at a new world, a new division. Um, and I'm we are gonna go with Vulcan Odeir to win over Alonzo Manfield. I try to find my way to a Spivvac here, but man, I think, yeah, Shamil Gazv um I feel like he has a bit more power. I think his his power is very underrated. I It's something I actually forgot about, but this man has some power in in the clinch. He has a bit more of a stronger pop in his shots than than Spac. I think Spac really relies on the takedowns and, you know, finding a submission and being heavy on on on the ground and top in top guard, but that's where Gazv is is really good there, too. And he he's a heavy body as well. So, um I think Shamil Gazv kind of has the tools to kind of, you know, put Speedac in some dangerous spots here. So I do think there is a finish here. Um and I'm going to pick Shamil Gazv to to win by a finish. Uh I'm gonna go with knockout. But I think yeah, I think Speedback just really relies on just getting these fights to the ground. And when he doesn't, he just looks like a shove himself. He just doesn't know what to do really. Like his standup is just hasn't really gotten any better. So I think Shamil Gazv will finish him.
