Rose Daria is zenova I think that's how you say it Z zakova I don't know something like that we'll find out this weekend we've got Igor Severino taking on Andre Lima and the first fight of tonight Cur and Joker if you will we got muhamad the motor Usman taking on Mick Parkin that's a training partner of heavyweight interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspen all dude uh a few fights um happened with Drew Stephanie Luciano uh got the dingy fever interesting so that's from mosquitoes dude uh dusco torvis withdrew from Edmond shabazian fight so hopefully as Edmond's been working on his wrestling for that uh Gabriel mirando withdrew from Billy corillo uh Chris Barnett withdrew from Mo Usman uh yeah dude so I guess what's your thoughts on the card as a whole man before we get into it uh as you said not great not great at all so uh yeah it's gonna be another rough one and freelin start that late dude that's yeah that's awful man it's rough we got a lot taking the notes we appreciate you L you are we do have uh Mohammad the motor Usman taking on Mick Parkin um Mohamad Usman 10 and two overall out of his last five fights he is four and one with a last win over Jake clier don't really say a lot a win over just Junior tofa doesn't really say a whole lot uh in a KO in his EVENT_DETAILS debut over Zack palga while uh Mick Parkin on the other hand is eight and0 uh undefeated uh win in his last fight over um Kaio Machado and before that a decision win over Jamal poges that was his EVENT_DETAILS debut on the contender series he he did defeat Edward Eduardo NZ via rear naked choke currently odds for this fight are um minus 158 for Mick Parkin and plus 124 for Muhammad Usman mohhamad Usman 34 years old 6'2 and a 79 inch reach while Mick Parkin is 28 years old 64 and a 79 inch reach D Rose do you mind if I kick us off today brother let's do it man I'm gonna be short and sweet um yeah I think Usman uses his size right he just uses his size he's not really great anywhere he's going to try to push you up against the fence and hold you there if he can get you down he will and kind of just lay on you but if if his size doesn't work dude I don't know what he's GNA do because when he when he throws a punch dude I can show you how Muhammad Usman throws a punch every single time dude he just comes down leans his head to the right and throws a left hook that's what he does that's his only punch he just say and it's so slow and so telegraphed dude but if he doesn't land that i' don't know what he does to win this fight and I do like Mis and mck Parkin I do find Mohamad Usman to be rather tough and durable so I do think this fight goes to decision and a I'm gonna probably bet on a prop that I bet in the Jamal poges fight I think it was like plus 500 plus 700 and that is Mick Parkin to win this fight via decision so give me the undefeated bigger fighter actual heavyweight here uh to win give me m uh Mick Parkin to win this fight via decision dude because you know Usman I feel like if he got disciplined dude he could probably make like heavyweight if he hasn't already fought there before uh yeah but I mean if you it's not like he's uh you know it's not like he's missing any bit of like you know fat or anything like that I mean the dude is you know he is pretty jacked but he weighs in at two like 237 I think something like that so it's like I feel like if you just cut some weight dude you could probably make like heavyweight that's that's a solid dude the I mean that's what that's that's another 31 Pounds you got to cut I don't know if that's I don't know if that's necessarily easy and even if you can I don't know if that you would get the best version of him versus uh and plus a heavyweight division that you can say that it's probably a little bit more easy to take advantage of a little bit you know not as athletic as you could say maybe a Muhammad Usman is and I know Mick Parkin uh Mick Parkin training partner with uh Tom Aspen all there I know he's got good grappling um he's got decent striking uh but for me I actually think you know Muhammad the motor Usman I mean his name is the motor for a reason man I know he throws sloppy Hooks and punches and stuff like that but dude there's one thing that he does not do he does not stop and um yeah I I think for uh I think that sets up good for for Mohammad Usman here especially in the Apex uh I think in close quarters I think he's going to be able to uh you know do some dirty boxing take it down to the ground uh maybe some wrestling on the fence not going to be an aesthetically pleasing fight but I think Mohamed Usman gets a done by decision all right so me and you both think this fight goes to decision but uh D Rose is on the plus 124 plus 125 dog and I am on the minus 150 favorite but one thing I do want to note on this card is a lot of a lot of close lines here this week so you know if you're confident and you're right this week there is money to be made because uh you know not a lot of huge underdogs or anything like that you could probably uh find yourself in a way to making a decent chunk of change if you could call some fights correctly this weekend uh but yeah me and D Rose first different pick on the first fight of the night I am on if you could give me like 60 seconds I got to fix my background real quick my light but uh if you just keep taking it I'll be all right dude uh but uh Mick Parkin I on Mick Parkin D Rose on muhamad the motor Usman so up next next fight of the night let me make sure we are still Sharon indeed we are next fight of the night we do have eigor srino taking on Andre Lima to EVENT_DETAILS newcomers here so and we're not going to pretend like we know a ton about these guys both undefeated at this point uh both I believe were on the contender series let me check just to make sure I know e was yeah um five months ago knocked out over jant Silva and yeah um Andre limo was as well um currently odds for this fight are minus 186 for Andre limo plus 144 for eigor um Cino or eigor D Silva whichever way you call it um eigor is 20 years old 5 foot7 and a 69 inch reach while Andre Luma is 25 years old 5 foot7 and a 6 57 inch reach um personally I don't feel fantastic about this fight being basically both Fighters coming off the contender series and we don't really know a ton about them either way but if you ask me when it comes to fights like this that you just don't know a ton about but you have to make a pick you for just your long shot betting every single fight in the night just pick the winners I would probably pick Andre Lima here just due to his uh his age and uh and I think that's basically it just his age I feel like maybe a little bit more filled out for his body he is fighting a 20y old here but as I said don't know a ton about either one of them both guys match up they seem to be roughly the same size the 20-year-old might have a uh two inch reach Advantage but um I'm thinking that the literal man uh will probably get the Dub here but you know that's the only reason why don't feel great about this either way probably won't be betting this fight either way but give me Andre Lima uh the minus 186 favorite to defeat the 20-year-old dog and eoro you back D Rose he is indeed back yes yes we bike we bike all right but um I picked Andre Lima here D Rose but I said basically I don't know [ __ ] about these guys yeah no I uh I'm I'm 1,00% with you I don't know much about either one but um Andre Lima does seem to have a little bit more experience going the full distance versus uh oh yeah I think eagor got just straight [ __ ] first round K I think yeah I think I think he might have a couple second rounds in there as well but uh but yeah no actual decision in his career so I think if it's if it gets drawn out a little bit say if uh say if eigor doesn't get to finish early I say Lima gets it done late or about decision so if I had gun to my head I'm choosing Lima but not with any confidence all right me and D Rose both on uh the EVENT_DETAILS newcomer and Andre limo but they're both EVENT_DETAILS newcomers here this week this is one that I'm actually interested in here D Rose wow we have masarat rendone taking on diara zelino zalin zenova I don't know zelenova that's what I'm calling it we got mazerat the monster rendone uh is 6 and0 overall taking on dyra zenova zenova however you say it uh uh currently odds for this are minus 200 for zelenova and a plus 154 for mazerat rendone maera rendone is 35 years old 5 foot n in a 68 inch reach while uh dyra zenova is 28 years old 5 foot n and we don't have a reach uh D Rose uh we saw saw masarat rendone in our EVENT_DETAILS debut last fight against TAM Vidal where she did win via Split Decision she's a big girl D Rose like thick like muscles everywhere I did look at dyus zenova last fight dude and she doesn't she looks like the exact opposite it surprises me that these Fighters are the same weight class because ju just looking at their two last fights dude one girl is in and out light on her feet and one girl is like plotty big thick and just Wings hooks tries to grab you get you down um in dyra uh two two fights ago the one that she lost dude I think she got taken down dude and yeah taken down and just ground the pounding dude had absolutely no answer by Melissa Mullins that's also in the EVENT_DETAILS now so this girl has solid strikes dude but on the ground maybe showed some deficiencies as where mazerat rendone I believe that's where she wants to get the fight at is just grab a girl take her down and use her physical strength to get the dub dude but I think personally dude with this fight you know how I feel about women's MMA I like it more than most people like women's MMA for some reason D I think the footwork I think you could look at this if you want to look at as somewhat of a guy fight obviously way lower level maybe look at something like a pooll Costa versus Izzy fight I look at Mazar Ren to being this big beefy broody girl trying to come in muscle her way you know throw the big Hooks and Zelena kov to be like the Izzy the one that's going to be on the outside you know popping her shots good footwork so give me um darra zenova to uh win this fight via decision this week uh she has the EVENT_DETAILS newcomer minus 200 favorite but uh mazerat rendone if if she took her down and just grounded her the whole time it wouldn't surpris me but give me the EVENT_DETAILS newcomer the slight favor or I guess uh two to favorite Senova to defeat mazerat rendone this week which way you going here D Ros and um while you break that down I'm gonna go grab a soda I'm gonna pass it to you my guy uh yeah this is a uh man you left me a tough one to me on um yeah because dirra zenzel Lova uh I mean that's a not going to lie this is going to be a tough tough one for me to call boys because um I know Matt said that he he's on on dirra there but uh I mean rendone you know she again she does have good wrestling uh she used that that brute strength just to walk forward but um but I in the in the tamaras Bal fight I mean it was a little bit of a slower Pac fight from what I from I remember last but uh man you know what don't even make it uh don't even make it too cute let's just go with uh Dar here just to just to not even don't don't even chance it even though I get the chance to to pick for the pck champ next week let's uh let's not even put that in ethos spe just keep it moving all right all right Deo so me and D Rose both on dyra Zena kova this week uh up next we do have uh Steven Nguyen taking on jarno erand dude leing the win 9 And1 overall he this is his EVENT_DETAILS debut he last coming off the coner series where knocked out AJ Cunningham which we just saw uh uh who was his name who who just now knocked out AJ Cunningham it's not uh osmic D Rose what's the other guy Ludovic Klein lud Klein yeah yeah he just not knocked out AJ AJ Cunningham as well j a uh yeah Jon arons uh 13 and five uh been in the EVENT_DETAILS uh lost two fights now a decision to William G and a a decision to uh suu Choy but I believe he dropped them maybe once or twice in that fight as well uh currently odds for this are plus 158 for jarno erands and a minus 205 for Steve no win uh St Steve the win fighting out of Kansas just Kansas the whole state baby uh anyway Stephen the win is uh 30 years old 5 foot 11 and a 73 inch reach while jno erens is 29 years old old 5' 11 and a 73 inch reach D Ros this one's hard for me to call man uh do you have do you do you have a lean here uh I mean for for me it just looks like you know for for Jon o Evans I know that you know he's had a little bit of a rough run but he's also had you know some tough competition that he's fought as well within that time uh but a lot of man not gonna say losing a decisions to sunu Choy is is bad because sunu Choy is a good fighter but Sunwood Choy is mostly a a big finisher type of guy and as you said jonno Evans was able to hurt Sunwood Choy a couple times in that fight and still ended up losing so he just kind of has you know this bad Misfortune for himself uh and uh and Stephen thewin I think he's got you know just a little bit of a minum coming in off the uh coming in off the contender series uh he's got two separate wins off the contender series one Decision One finish so um he's been a little bit more well-rounded in his uh in his ability to win uh so if I'm putting any type of money towards us at all definitely going to go stepen to win but uh but yeah just in terms of picking here as well uh jonno Evans can be cracked a couple times and I think that's where Stephen thewin can can take advantage at let's go uh let's go Stephen wi here yeah I I think that's the way I'm leaning dude is just I don't think John Deens is a good fighter and that's why it's tough because we got someone coming from the contender series that we don't really know [ __ ] about the had first round knockout on the contender series against AJ cunning him which has absolutely like he's tough but I mean not really the best fighter and wejo aens I feel like he's an okay fighter I just don't think he's EVENT_DETAILS level so I think this fight should truly be a pick them but uh I'm gonna go with you D Rose give me uh Steven the win to probably knock out jno erens maybe even in the first round but I don't feel great about it I definitely don't feel great about it uh yeah not going to be betting that one this weekend at least I I hope not I might find myself into a into a bet but who knows uh anyway next fight of the night we do have miles Choo Johns taking on the Renegade Cody Gibson dude this is one that I'm actually interested in this fight we got miles Choo John's 13 and two overall his last fight was overturned to to Torino ball um yeah pops for uh the Jon Jones drug anyway these ads man uh anyway um 13 and two and then before that uh win over decision win over Vince Morales which does not say a ton because Vince Morales doesn't really have a chin uh lost to John castan and now we're looking at three years ago Cody Gibson um coming back uh lost to braaton in The Ultimate Fighter finale uh and then before that was in the EVENT_DETAILS but this is his second St in the EVENT_DETAILS he has 19 and N overall currently odds for this D Rose are um minus 142 for Cody Gibson and plus 112 well hold on SEC no minus 142 for Miles Johns and plus 112 for Cody Gibson so Cody Gibson the slight dog here miles Johns 29 years old 5 foot7 and a 66 inch reach while Cody Gibson 36 years old 5 fo 10 and a 71 inch reach uh I'm G be straight up here ders I'm g go with the dog here this week um I think Miles John's he solid he he's a good wrestler dude but I feel like if you if if he has to strike for an extended amount of time it gets tired it it's like I see people get tired from wrestling but I don't really see people get tired from striking too often but miles Johns just seems to be one of those people that if he has to throw his arms he just gets dead tired and Cody Gibson on the other hand uh you saw that on The Ultimate Fighter he's going to turn up the got solid cardio is going to turn up more and more as the fight goes on uh got solid footwork solid range solid teep kicks and I think if he can keep this fight on the feet um he's going to end up uh piecing up miles John's gasing him out and probably U winning this fight via decision so give me Cody Gibson to defeat miles John's via decision this week D Rose what's your thoughts here um yeah you actually uh I would say I'm actually in in agreeance with you man and and big reason why too is you know for all the things you explained now with miles John's when he throws a strikes um he is throwing to hurt you he's not throwing just to play points he's throwing to inflict some damage uh so he does get tired uh now if he lands one of those big bombs now for Cody Gibson I mean there's no telling that he's gonna be able to uh you know Live to Tell the tale but I mean if you take into account miles John's cardio issues plus he's taking this fight on what a week or two's notice so um this is a short notice fight for him as well uh I he might see a little bit uh of an opening there against Cody Gibson but I think what miles Johns has shown in the past as you see against John cassan any type of wrestling or anything like that you can get to him and tire him out and I think that's where Cody Gibson can take advantage at with Miles Jon's here I think you're gonna see a lot of wrestling I think you can maybe even see a submission from Cody Gibson here but I think there's enough money on that dog line just a squeeze by itself to uh to just go straight money line but yeah I'm going Cody Gibson all right me and D Rose both on the uh on the slight dog Cody Gibson this week surprising D Ros uh no because as I said miles John is taking the fight on short notice I'm actually surprised that Miles John is a favorite so yeah knowing that Cody Gibson is a dog I bet money by the start of the week you're gonna see that line come down to about even or even see Cody Gibson take a little bit of the uh take a little bit of the advantage as far as being the favorite fair enough fair enough here is another interesting One D Rose we do have hicard hos taking on Juicy J Julian Erosa dude Ricardo hos alternating wins and losses 16 and5 overall last lost to Charles Jordan via Guillotine uh spinning elbow knockout over Danny Chavez then lost uh to I think zero ad is it zaruk adashev uh zeru zerro toov via decision and then spinning back or I guess who am I thinking about who did he knock out the spinning back elow two in a row I thought it was two in a row that he had it wasn't two in a row but he's had two before I I think if I remember correct I I believe Aman zahab was the other one that he landed on but that was like I think it was like 2019 or so damn dude time flies time flies dude anyway uh he is 16 and5 overall Juicy Jay Julian Ros is 28 and 11 uh won three of his last five last loss to Fernando Pilla via knockout and Alex Carz Alex caceres be a knockout he hasn't won in a close to a year and a half where he did defeat mean heem Dow do via decision I know I called that one uh anyway currently odds for this are um minus 170 for hicard hos and plus 132 for Julian Erosa aicardo Hames is 28 years old 5 foot n and a 72 inch reach while Julian Erosa is 34 years old 6 foot one in a 74 inch reach D Ros I've had a hard time going back and forth on this fight this week and it's just because I've Just Seen Julian Rosa get cracked and you know he just gets cracked and just gets knocked out he'll just be winning every bit of the fight until he gets cracked and knocked out but then he'll have performances over um like me and Hakeem da do where you know he just looks fantastic the whole fight just just just looks great um I think before the podcast right now I came into this fight thinking that I was going to pick hicard hamos but now being here on the spot dude I cannot not go with my guy give me Juicy J Julian Erosa to defeat hicard hos via decision D Rose which way you going here this week man got another one of my dog picks here um yeah because I I'm I I can't lie I'm in agreeance with you here I think for cardo hos I don't want to say he's a one trick pony but um you know he does look for that spinning back elbow a lot he has very obvious setups for when he goes to throw the spinning back elbow um and I mean he is a good Striker overall but he does look to set up that spin an elbow a lot um and there's a reason why he's gotten a couple of them in the EVENT_DETAILS I know he's gotten two uh but but man Julian Rosa he is super tough and plus if you look at it at this point I know his last loss was a Francisco Padilla I did call that because Julian Rosa does get hit a lot but I think uh Padilla you know he had the length and everything going into that fight fight I think for for this one you're going to see a Roa you know he's going to have the bre plus the height Advantage I mean able to kind of use his jab and keep hamash on the outside man I think I think this is the fight that Jillian Rosa can win I think he's a little bit more well-rounded um he's a little bit more chinny so if Carter hamus does land a bomb he can get Julian R Roa out of there but I think Julian R Roa can use his length keep the distance uh and probably win a decision fight here all right I thought you're probably going to go hos and I do I I thought I was before the podcast but I think right now dude I'm just like something tells me this that Juicy J's got this VI a decision don't be dumb and just think he's for Trey Ogden Trey Ogden 34 years old 5' 11 72 inch reach Kurt Holobaugh is 5 foot I'm sorry 37 years old 5'1 70 inch reach D Ros I don't think I picked Trey doed in many times maybe against Daniel zher just because how that's when I was listening to James Krauss at the time and he was like yeah bet Trey ogon we got a game plan for him and sure enough they did dude but uh but uh before that dude uh I I I mean um I'm sorry after that I guess I haven't really picked him too much and I think his last fight maybe opened my eyes up to him just a little bit maybe Trey Ogden is you know a pretty good fighter o over allaround overall pretty good fighter so um give me Trey Ogden to win this fight via decision over Kurt Hol ball the 37y old Kurt hball dude but once again the line's close minus 150 and plus 118 dude yeah very close and I will say I've actually been going back and forth on this one and I will say it's mostly because of Kurt Holobaugh's last performance against Austin hubard because um dude Aus H I'm not yeah I'm not going to tell you that Austin hubt is the best fighter in the world but dude he's hella tough and he's hard the finish and um and yeah for for Kurt Halal to uh hurt Austin Hubbert on the feet then end up you know being in bottom position and still getting that triangle uh choke I mean man I mean we know Kurt hell's got some got some skill man so uh got good jiujitsu off his back got good boxing uh he he's a good fighterman I think for for me Trey Ogden uh sharp fighterman as you said that last fight with Nicholas Moda U man he I mean he was just absolutely stabbing uh Moda with that jab this over and over again with it and um and I think with him man I know what is the marathon MMA that he trains out of he is also the head coach out of that gym as well so you're going to talk about a a sharp MMA mind um you know he's used to looking at other people's game plans plus putting his own game plan into effect so I think you're talking about a dude who has a lot of knowledge in the game and um yeah I think Trey Ogden can can get it done here as long as he stays out of those danger positions on the ground I think we'll see a little bit of wrestling from Trey Ogden here to uh to keep k h honest but I think you see a lot of [ __ ] exchanges as well and and Trey a gets a decision all right me and D both on the slight favorite In Trey
