UFC 324 Full Card Breakdown

“I'm taking Patty Pimpblelet here. I think the price is appropriate. I think he's more dangerous. I think he's more durable. He's got the grappling upside. Um, I think this is Pimblet's fight to lose. I think he takes this one. I think he's going to finish Justin Gaethje. Uh I'll go a little bold and say he gets it done by knockout rather than submission.”

“I like Song here. I like Song to keep the pressure on. I think he's going to be the more active fighter. I think he's going to land the more damaging shots, have the bigger moments. Uh, so give me Song Yadong to take a decision.”

“Uh, obviously the straight pick here is got to be Umar. He's he's younger. He's got the well-roundedness, all all these attributes,”

“Uh yeah, I I lean towards Modestas Bukauskas here. I think he's going to use that technical clean kick boxing. he can just avoid the danger of Nikita Krylov at this stage of his career. I think he's got good enough grappling to keep this one standing. I think he's obviously much more durable at this stage. Uh so give me Modestas Bukauskas. I I'll say he gets a knockout uh second or third round.”

“I think Ateba Gautier gets him early. I caution against using him as a parlay piece straight just because of the price. Um, and I I'm not big on betting early round props on guys like this. So, it's probably just a pass overall, but I do expect Ateba Gautier to get another quick finish here.”

“Um, yeah, in the end, this is two pretty inexperienced guys. I think just based on what we've seen, I'm gonna go with Josh Hokit. I think he brings it more. I think he's he's stepped up better on the UFC stage to start with. I think uh he's got the better ground game.”

“So, I'm going to pick Alexander Hernandez here. I think he's more consistent. I think his cardio better over three rounds. I think he can mix in the wrestling better. Um, yeah, give me Alexander Hernandez here.”

“I think this is a good spot for Ty Miller to pick up some more experience. you know, uh I don't know if he gets the finish. You know, Adam Fugitt is kind of awkward uh at times, so we could see it go to decision, but I think Ty Miller uh handles this test comfortably and gets his first UFC win.”

“Uh, I I lean Cameron Smotherman as my pick. ... So yeah, I I'll go with Cameron Smotherman just be the sharper striker and and what could be a high pace three rounder.”

“So, with that, you look at these odds. As much as Charles Johnson's been on the hot streak lately and Alex Perez has been on the downswing, I like Perez at these odds. I like him as the underdog. ... So, give me Alex Perez as the underdog in this one. He might be my underdog best bet of the week.”

“I have to take Waldo Cortes-Acosta here. If you're taking Derrick Lewis, you're just looking for him to land that one big shot against Waldo who's proven to be pretty durable. Uh so I'm going to take the more technical, more active younger Waldo Cortes-Acosta here.”

“Uh I like Silva here. I'm not going to over complicate it. I think her movement, her striking, she's just proven to be on a different level uh than all these girls in the flyweight division. ... Uh so yeah, I'm taking Natália Silva to win this one by a decision to move on and finally fight for that throne that she's deserved a chance at for a while.”

“Uh cuz I do I favor Silva in this one. I just think he's more dangerous. He he he's got this physicality to him that's really hard to overcome unless you can keep up a really high work rate or land that big shot. ... Uh so yeah, I'm going to take Jean Silva by decision just based on physicality, ability to do damage.”
